A weather blog from a Houston television station (weatherblog.abc13.com) compiled the original forecasts for the season from various sources, ranging from government to private forecasting companies.
The greatest number of tropical storms was forecast by a UK company (Tropical Storm Risk), and the highest number of hurricanes was forecast by AccuWeather.
